PHOTOS: Ethiopia Burns 6.1 Tons of Ivory, Pledges to Boost Fight Against Wildlife Trafficking

Wildlife authorities staged a ceremonial ivory burning at the Gullele Botanic Garden. About 6 tons total, acquired across 20 years from smugglers trying to steal it out of East Africa through the Bole International Airport in Addis Ababa.
